Niklas Ponnert

Nik joined the Beijing office of eWTP in January 2023, responsible for the capital operations of funds and invested companies. He has over 20 years of experience in Chinese cross-border venture capital, global capital markets, and fund management.

Niklas joined the company from B Capital, where he had a wide range of investment experience. Prior to that, he was a Partner and Managing Director at Zhongli Capital Group. He has held executive and director positions in several private and listed investment companies.

Niklas is Swedish and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He is fluent in Mandarin.

As the Managing Director, Niklas will be responsible for fundraising for the company’s funds and the capital operations of invested companies.
