JERRY LI

Jerry founded one of the largest social media and web browser platforms in China. He would sell the business to the Alibaba Group in 2014 and he has since led multiple businesses within the Alibaba Group, including Alibaba Literature and Alibaba Pictures. With a wide range of experience as a start-up founder and as part of Alibaba Group’s senior leadership he is an expert in industrial integration. Jerry has witnessed and participated in China’s Internet revolution. With over 20-years of experience in China’s digital ecosystem he is extremely well respected and well connected across China’s tech space.

As a fund manager Jerry has successfully led and managed two funds with over $ 1 billion AUM.

Along with Lei Jun (Founder of Xiaomi) and other Alibaba Partners, Mr. Li is also a founding member of Global Mobile Internet Conference GMIC, one of the most prestigious forums for global internet pioneers and entrepreneurs. Jerry is passionate about using his experience, knowledge and deep connections in China’s tech space to help internationalize capable and fast growing Chinese businesses.
